What are the key things we look for:
- Technical Curiosity: desire to know what is happening, how it works, and when and how it might not work.
- A Problem Solver: ability to discover information; designing experiments to test, and using results to build model of understanding.
- Technical Background: Show technical understanding of some type of system.
- Communication skills. Eliciting information, talk business and technical, convincing others, listening and filtering.
- Numerical Skills – enough mathematics to understand the statistical concepts and modelling.
- Development skills. Experience writing code in any language, and happy to learn another if needed.
- Performance Testing experience is welcome, but not essential if you fit the profile.
