Recruitment Process 

If you approach Equinox as part of your next career move and reach the interview stage, we endeavour to have at least two meetings with you. This allows both you and Equinox to get to know each other well. At least one meeting will be with your ‘natural peer group' within Equinox.

The first meeting is usually with the Talent Manager and, depending on the role you are considering, a consultant from your peer group. They will:

  • Review your CV and other supplied information
  • Confirm your remuneration expectations, employment motivators and career goals
  • Discuss the Equinox philosophy, culture, values and your 'fit' to these
  • Evaluate your general skills, experience and development potential
  • Assess the alignment of your technical skills to our requirements

The second meeting is generally more technical in nature and, along with the Talent Manager, will involve either the National Consulting Manager, Managing Director, a member of the sales team or Equinox consultants from your peer group. They will:

  • Respond to any questions you may have
  • Explore areas of interest arising from the first interview
  • Assess your specific technical competencies and capabilities
  • Outline Equinox’s business strategy and services provision

If you are successful but have further questions arising from the second meeting, a third may be scheduled which could involve sales, administration, and consulting staff or company directors.

Subject to your timeframes, we aim to complete the recruitment process within 10 working days, however this is dependent on the availability of our consultants working on client sites.

The recruitment process at Equinox is actively managed throughout, so you will always be able to discuss progress and understand where you are in the process.

Information provided by you during the recruitment process will be used by Equinox to make a recruitment decision only and will not be used for any other purpose.

Equinox will, if you successfully complete the interview stage, undertake reference checks and will want to talk to previous line manager(s), clients and peers.
