Sparx EA with UML for Analysts

Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect is a powerful tool for modelling requirements, software, systems, and business processes using the Unified Modelling Language (UML) and Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN).


This course is suitable for business and systems analysts who require an introduction to UML, BPMN, and the Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect tool. The course focuses on an overview of UML, BPMN and Sparx Enterprise Architect tool navigation, and drills into the notation and tool usage for requirements, use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and domain models.


UML training is integrated with hands-on modelling in the EA tool throughout the course.

  • Navigate EA and perform basic activities
  • Understand and model use case diagrams, activity diagrams, BPMN diagrams, domain models, using UML / BPMN notation and using the EA tool.
