Public Course Policies
Equinox courses are run by practising consultants who have the requisite skills and experience.
Equinox may cancel any scheduled course or amend course materials, venue or dates. In this event, Equinox will make every effort to notify each person registered on the course as soon as practical after a decision to cancel or amend has been made.
Equinox is not responsible for any travel, accommodation and other disbursements associated with attending a training course. These are the responsibility of the person registered on the course or their employer.
Registration, Confirmation and Payment
On receipt of a course registration, Equinox will email a registration acknowledgement to the person being registered to confirm their place on the course.
Once the course is confirmed to run, Equinox will invoice each person registered on the course or their employer for the course fee. Equinox will also send a course confirmation email to each person registered with relevant details regarding the course.
Payment is required in full before course commencement.
Equinox may cancel the course placement where payment has not been received prior to course commencement.
Payment can be made by cheque, cash, direct debit, or Visa or MasterCard credit card.
Use of Personal Registration Information
Personal information provided during the public training course registration process will be used to register you on the course or courses and keep you informed of the status and details relating to the course or courses you have booked on. As a professional training organisation Equinox does retain public training course attendance records for all courses.
At the completion of each public training course you will be asked to complete an evaluation form for the course and we will use this information to continue to improve our training services.
Equinox does take registrations for training courses that are delivered by our training partners. When you register through Equinox on a course that is delivered by our training partners we will provide your personal registration information to them to complete the registration process. Other than this circumstance we will not provide your personal registration information to any business partner or other third party without your prior permission.

Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refund Policies
You may cancel or reschedule a public course booking up to 10 business days prior to the class start date at no cost. Where you have already paid for the course, we will reschedule you onto the next available public course date suitable to you. In the event that no suitable alternative course date is available we will provide you with a credit or refund for the course fee paid.
Any cancellation or rescheduling done less than 10 business days prior to the public course start date will incur a charge of 50% of the affected course or courses cost. Where you have already paid for the course, we will reschedule you onto the next available public course date suitable to you and invoice you an additional 50% of the course fee. In the event that no suitable alternative course date is available we will provide you with a credit or refund for the 50% of the course fee paid.
Booked participants who provide no notification of a course booking cancellation or rescheduling and who do not attend the course will be charged at 100% of course cost.
If a course participant cannot attend or needs to leave the course early due to sickness or bereavement, on a best efforts basis Equinox will try to place the person on the missed day or days on the next available course at no charge. Where this is not possible, Equinox will not refund any portion of the course fee or provide alternative training.
Credit Card Payments and Refunds
Equinox accepts Visa and MasterCard credit cards only.
Where you notify us that you wish to pay by credit card, we will provide you with a secure web page for you to enter your credit card details. Your credit card transaction will be securely processed directly by our credit card payment gateway provider. Equinox will not receive or store any credit card details.
Where you are eligible for a partial or full refund (as outlined above under Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refund Policies) and have paid by credit card, we will refund the amount owed into to the same credit card account that was used to make payment.
Other Details
Public course times are normally 9am to 5pm on each day of the course.
Lunch, morning and afternoon tea are provided on each day of public courses.
We will make our best efforts to accommodate special dietary requirements.
All course prices listed by Equinox exclude GST.
