Equinox IT implements changes to help clients realise value from AI adoption

Equinox IT has announced a change to its leadership and consulting structure to strengthen its support for clients as AI continues to reshape business and technology priorities.

We believe AI adoption creates significant opportunities for organisations that approach it strategically. We see the most value from AI coming where organisations enable their people with a framework that is well architected, effectively delivered and has strong governance to ensure measurable outcomes are achieved.

Our updated structure will ensure we continue to evolve alongside our clients’ needs while maintaining the high standards of delivery and partnership that our clients expect. To achieve that, we have created new roles of Chief Client Officer and Auckland Consulting Manager.

David Reiss, Client Chief Officer

David Reiss has chosen to take the Chief Client Officer as a new challenge following more than six years as Co-CEO. The appointment recognises his proven experience and strong track record of delivering successful client outcomes. In this new role, David will focus on deepening client relationships, guiding service evolution and helping realise greater value from Equinox IT's expertise.

Grant Simpson, Auckland Consulting Manager

Grant Simpson has been appointed Auckland Consulting Manager and is responsible for delivering services to key Auckland and global clients. This appointment strengthens Equinox IT's ability to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes and to support growth in these strategically important markets.

Paul Ramsay has stepped in as Acting Co-CEO during the transition, supporting Deane Sloan, who continues as Co-CEO and remains based in Wellington. This leadership continuity provides stability for clients, partners, and staff as Equinox IT moves into its next phase of growth.

The updated structure at Equinox IT enables closer alignment between leadership, service delivery, and emerging market needs.
